I found this wonderful rusted yacht fitting in the Durban harbour. We now now that we create pathways in our brain through repetetive thought, and these thoughts can pull us down, restrain us tighter than any cables. But the thoughts can also create new pathways, if we consciously choose to create new motor neuron paths, and those new habits create cables that are solid and secure, and can keep us anchored firmly in a postive place of our choosing.
Happiness is where we find it, but rarely where we seek it. This quote by J Petit Senn is a favourite – we are always looking for someone to make us happy, or somethng to make us happy. We will never find happiness by seeking it. Happiness comes when we go within and become quiet, and find ourselves.
A lovely reminder by Colleen Joy Page that we need to feel deeply secure within ourselves, in order to stand up and be all that we are intended to be.
