Fran integrates words  with her photographs, to create unique art works in her own individual style.

“My everyday joy, appreciation of beauty, and a deep love of  the Earth, combine with spiritual inspiration to create WordArt for your delight”.

I use quotes that have deep meaning  for me, some of which I have had in notebooks for years, and the wisdom always hold true.  I acknowledge the author on the left of the picture if I know it.

The photographs are mostly of the world around me, I live in a place of such beauty, and look for beauty in the detail wherever I go.

I am passionate about the Earth, I recycle my rubbish, have a worm farm on my apartment balcony, and appreciate every bit of water and electricity that I use.

As I walk on the beach at Ballito, KwaZuluNatal, South Africa, -  the early morning sky is silvergrey, with clouds making patterns, a little light catching the waves – my heart sings.
I revel in the excitement of the sunrise behind crisp clear waves crashing to the rocky shore and I want to share my joy with you, - you, who work long hours in the city, who do not get to walk  on the beach.
